Last weekend, Joel's Mom threw me a baby shower. It was the largest of all of my showers, and it was the only co-ed one. In fact, there were so many people there we felt very supported and loved. There were a lot of the church family from the Bullock Family's church Mt. Zion and also a lot of Joel's relatives made a trip just for the occasion. It was nice to catch up with family and meet so many new faces. There were some fun games, lots and lots of good food. I especially liked the chicken wings! The cake was a very cute stork cake, and it was yummy.

Everyone was so generous with their gifts, most of which were clothes (I think everyone likes to buy clothes for girls) or gift cards, which came in handy for buying the bigger things off our registry.

I guess the next time we see everyone like that again will probably be for Thanksgiving, which will be when Avery is a big girl.
