10 Things About NC
10 Things I Didn't Know About North Carolina Before I Moved Here:
Harris Teeter grocery stores are everywhere
Jack in the Box may be better than BK, McD, Wendy's etc.
It rarely snows and people have to mow their lawns into December!
Lake Delay - Drivers on I-77, slow down to admire Lake Norman, never mind the fact they should be driving 65 mph.
One word: Showmars!
Radio stations actually play a variety of songs instead of the same 10 hits over and over.
Service people are nice, but slow at restaurants, stores, etc.
They only have license plates on the back of the cars down here.
Houses with basements are VERY rare.
They don't get hurricanes very often in Charlotte. We're too far inland.
Everyone's from New York. Its a transient area like DC was with people from all over the country, but for some reason there are an enormous amount of people from places like Rochester, Buffalo, Long Island, and even the City.
