Our latest home renovation entails putting in a fence. Not only would a fence look great with our home (in our opinion,) but it will also increase the value of our home, which is never a bad thing. I am very excited about getting a fence built because on occasion someone from the neighborhood will cut through our yard, which bothers me. It will be great for when Avery and our next child are bigger to be able to play safely in the back yard too. Lastly, it'll be even nicer when company comes to visit and we have a little more privacy.

Right now we are getting estimates from a few different companies, but it's not looking too pricey, which is not what we expected. We will most likely have a very plain fence. Our HOA rules say that it has to be semi-private, so there is space between boards, but not too big. We're going for the flat tops with no posts and one or two gates.

Anyway it'll be a lot more homey after this is completed. As for other home projects we have a few small ones like updating lighting fixtures and plumbing fixtures and bigger ones like replacing the sliding door with french doors and replacing the linoleum, not sure with what yet though.
